Booking Payment Info

First Payment: 50% Due up front.

Second Payment: 50% Due 30 days before arrival.

Security Deposit: $500 hold placed 2 days before arrival and released within 7 days of departure.

Cancellation Policy: Guest receives 97% of amount paid if cancellation occurs at least 30 days before arrival. No refunds within 30 of arrival.

Travel Insurance: Optional. Provided by 3rd Party and offered during booking process.

Both locations are conveniently located in the Spring Creek area of Lay Lake.

Eagles Nest Address: 115 Crawfish Drive, Shelby, AL 35143

Mallards Nest Address: 143 Merrell Drive, Shelby, AL 35143

12 Guests Maximum for Eagles Nest and 8 Guests Maximum for Mallards Nest

No Pets

No Smoking

No Parties or Events

Please be respectful of neighbors and keep noise down especially between 12:00AM - 6:00AM

Must sign rental agreement upon booking

Must submit a $500 security deposit hold, provide photo ID, and must be at least 25 years old to book

Check-in

Check-in after 4:00 PM

Self check-in through keypad smart lock. Code will be provided before check-in.

Please promptly let us know within 24 hours if anything is missing, broken, or cleaning is not up to standards so we can rectify asap.

We want to make sure your stay is enjoyable and everything you hoped it would be.

Check-out

Check-out is before 10:00 AM

Please text or email me when you depart.

Before you leave:

  • Gather all trash and place in the trash containers by the carport

  • Load and start the dishwasher (cleaning pods under the sink)

  • Remove all items from the refrigerator (other than items left for your convenience)

  • If you used the outdoor grill, please clean it before departure ($50 excessive cleaning fee will apply if in unsatisfactory condition)

  • Gather used towels and place in laundry room

  • Leave all beds unmade (no need to strip beds - our cleaning crew will do that)

  • Sign out of any apps you signed in on and check under chairs and beds to make sure nothing left

  • Turn off lights and make sure all windows and doors are locked

  • Please return all amenities to their original location

Finally, please let us know if anything is missing or broken so we can have it fixed or replaced before the next guests arrived.

There are 3 Security cameras that monitor the front entrance and parking areas of Eagles Nest. There are no security cameras inside or on the back deck of both homes and all security cameras will be turned off during your stay for your privacy.

Please note that there may be construction in progress on land adjacent or behind property at Eagles Nest. We are not responsible for disturbances due to construction noise or noise from other property owners.

Property requires steps to enter the front door which may be difficult for guests with limited mobility. Bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible

For Eagles Nest, please park in carport and designated parking areas behind the shed. The road leading down all the way to the lake is an easement road shared by all neighbors and should not be blocked by vehicles or trailers.
